We appeal you to sign this online petition against the gross violation of the workers' legal rights in the DMRC. There are almost 10,000 workers working as the station staff in the DMRC. These workers are not provided with the facilities of minimum wages, ESI, PF, and sometimes even weekly off. They're maltreated by the officials of the contract companies, who openly flout the labor laws without any hesitation, because they have the patronage of the DMRC authorities. Moreover, the DMRC itself is in serious violation of labor laws, as it has given work of permanent nature on contract. This is just another instance of gross violation of workers' rights in this country.
We appeal all democratic, justice-loving, sensitive and concerned citizens to sign this online petition to be sent to the DMRC authorities, CM, Delhi, PM, India.
